This document is for Group Administrators only

As an Admin of a closed group within the Qlik Community. You are responsible for monitoring and managing the membership. As the Group Admin you would best understand the members that would derive value from joining and participating.  Below are two ways to add new members.

  • Invite Members: If you go to your group and on the right, you will see members at the bottom you can click “View All” that will bring you a list of current members.
      • Click the green button that reads “Invite Members
      • In the Send to box: Fill in their Qlik Username
      • The role is pre-populated with the role “Group Member”
      • You have the option to personalize the invitation, if not a default invitation is sentClick Send Invitation. An invitation is sent to the users Qlik community inbox

  • Requests for membership. A user has the ability to request to join a group:
    • In a closed group, users can request to join. The Group Admin will get notified via their Qlik inbox and if set up in their preferences, their email also
    • To Approve or Reject a request to join, simply, “View All” on the right side under member list, click on the tab say reads “Requests” and you will see all those who have requested to join. Choose “Approve” or “Reject”

**The tab that says pending are those you have invited but have not yet accepted.  Each member will have to accept your invitation
