Currently, if a dimension is based on an expression, the filter bar displays the expression instead of the title (or label) of the dimension. Also, the filter bar displays a dimension's field name instead of the title (or label). For example, I have a field named "MedicalClaims.Billing Provider" and I have saved a filter pane in my master items with the label "Billing Provider (Medical)." The filter bar shows the field name while my filter pane shows the label. It's especially confusing when a dimension is built with an IF statement (like "=If(..."). No one can hope to read it.
It should show the title (or label). That way it's obvious to the user which filters are applied.
The problem is worse than stated. In my experience, with expression-based master dimensions, Qlik Sense may display any one of the following, and which one it picks is inconsistent/unpredictable/uncontrollable:
The underlying field(s)
The master dimension's name
The master dimension's expression
The master dimension's label expression
It's a frustrating mess that bewilders users and developers alike.
