When defining fields and groups in the logical model for calendar fields, is the month data type for fields that contain Jan (1) - Dec (12) or does it include the year, like Jan 2022 - Dec 2022?
This help page isn't clear. https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/BusinessLogic/business-l...
I'm trying to set up calendar periods in the logical model, but my month/year fields doesn't show up. I believe it's because its mapped to the first day of the month instead of being an aggregated calendar field, but I'm seeing if changing the data type in fields and groups forces Qlik to look at it as a aggregated period.
Any input is helpful.

These are temporal dimensions. The Month classification correlates to a number representing the month, and the MonthDay classification correlates to a number representing the days. These can be used when you have implicit date items.
If you have one date field, I'd suggest classifying these items as a date to take advantage of Autocalendar. Autocalendar contains additional flexibility around Month/Year delineations in the "calendar periods" of Business Logic.
