I'm trying to create my own logical model in an application with master items (only master items).
Unfortunately, values from my master items don't show up when asking questions in the chat.
(The chat available in Insight advisor)
I've enabled data value lookup for my items according to Qlik help instructions.
However, if I disable the business logic, the master items appear in the chat.
Is this a problem someone else is experiencing?
I've attached a sample app with business logic applied.
Hello @jakob2303 - Would you be able to test in the same application and let us know if this has been resolved?
Hi @Nasser_Bumpus,
I can confirm that it is working very well.
I've tested both in the same test application and in one of our published applications.
Thank you a lot for solving this.
Best,
Jakob
Hello @jakob2303 - When I use the same application and type in the following, it returns a list of the IDs. Is that the desired behavior?
If I then add a new master item with an aggregation, in this case sales, then an analysis is generated.
Thanks,
Nasser
Hi @Nasser_Bumpus,
What I'm referring to in my post is the Natural Language Search function.
With the logical model deactivated, values in my Master Dimension show as a suggestion in the search.
With the logical model activated, the search for the same value doesn't work.
We would only like to use master dimensions and field in the insight advisor.
But somehow the search for master dimensions doesn't work when I create my own logical model.
Thank you,
Jakob
Hello @jakob2303 - We have been able to replicate this in the QVF provided and are identifying a cause/fix.
If you haven't already, could you file a support ticket and we can tag you to it for further updates.
