Vocabularies: field names with spaces

Good morning everyone,
I would like to implement a well-structured vocabulary to allow users to fully benefit from the functionalities provided by the insight advisor.
However, I am noticing that fields with spaces in their names, such as "Total Sales," "Current Year," or "% Discount," are not included in the fields list.

Where am I going wrong? I also cannot find documentation on this limitation.

Thank you for the help.

Hello @Marco_Imperiale - The spaces are not a limitation. Can you double check that the fields are visible in the business logic? I will attach screenshots to reference.

Hi @Nasser_Bumpus ,

thank you, it's a real mistery for me: I delete the application (it was just a test) rebuilt it from scratch and... it works... so I can't explain what happened, I'm quite sure, I rebuild all as the original (just a cupple of table and some master field), but... never in my life will know what it was 😭.

Thank you all for the answers and the support.

Welcome - Can you clarify where you are not seeing these fields :

1. Field list as in the field selection or business logic?

2. Is "Total Sales" or "Sales" the field name in your app?

Hi and thank you:

1) Edit a sheet
2) Click on "Prepare" button and "Vocabulary"
3) In the Synonyms tab, Click on "+ Create terms"
4) Add some terms and then click on the fields combolist
5) There are no fields with spaces in their name:

Where I'm wrong?!

No answers? Is it a bug or a limit?

Hi Marco_Imperiale,

I don't have an answer for your question. I just wanted to tell you that in my experience I can find ALL the fields, including the ones with spaces. So, I guess there's not a system limitation, and you'll have to look for a problem elsewhere.

Bye

Weird, try with rename Main Category as Main_Category and check once.

if they are coming something else, but we don't have any limitations such things
