Estimated date for Talend 9 and will support Ubuntu 22 and JDK 17

Hello,

I have check the version history

and I can see that lately a new version is available for Talend approximately every year. And last one was november 2021.

We are planning an obsolescence project and we have to provision servers and we saw here

That Talend 8 is recommended for JDK 11 and Ubuntu 20

--> The question is , there is planned soon a new Talend 9 version (this year) and will it support JDK 17 and Ubuntu 22?

I can't comment in Ubuntu 22 at the moment, but I do know that JDK 17 is in the works at the moment. This will be released in a monthly patch of v8 for Enterprise customers. We *may* release an updated version of TOS v8, but when I do not know t present. We are not looking at timescales for Talend v9 yet. But there will be some big changes coming when that is released.
