Missing menu options when you right click on a component after install

I've now had this a couple of times after installing Talend and sometimes it just suddenly starts working other times it doesn't. I just don't have the correct right click menu on components. No delete options or anything... Just downloaded Talend so its the latest version.

Hi,
What's your OS? Did you focus your mouse on component and right click? Does this issue repro on your all jobs or just a specify job?
Best regards

Windows 7. 64bit.
Its just a fresh install. It happens on any component and yes I'm right clicking directly on the component. If I right click on the left nav bar it works fine:

We had the same issue on another computer but a couple of reboots and downloading of additional talend components seemed to fix the issue. But my machine it hasn't resolved the issue and Talend isn't asking to download anymore component updates.

Just done a fresh install and exactly the same issue. So I extracted TOS_MDM-Studio-20151214_1327-V6.1.1 running the exe results in an error saying missing java so then dropped in the java jre (v1.8.0_73) into talend and loaded up. Same issue.

Hi,
We don't repro your issue on our end. Did you install your studio completely?
Is there any error message? Which is located in <Talend Studio installation path>/workspace/.metadata/.log?
Best regards

My computer sits behind a proxy so initially I didn't have the proxy setup in Talend. Now done and downloaded all plugins etc but still not getting right click options.

Hi,
Have you tried to repro this issue on other build version? V 6.1, V 6.0?
Best regards

Its a common problem I've had for years at different companies. Usually it seems to resolve itself after fiddling around but this time just hasn't resolved itself.

Hi,
We can not repro this issue on our end(win7 64bit).
Feel free to create a jira issue of DI project so that our R&D team will check it to see if there is any hidden bug.
Best regards
Sabrina
