TOS DI milestone jobs able to be used/migrated in next main version?

Hello,

I've started to use TOS DI last year in November on a Linux machine. I've downloaded a milestone version 7.4.1. Now I know, this is just a test version and it should have been the 7.3 version to work with. I am very unsure if the jobs I've created will be able to be exported and imported to a comin main version? Did I develop in a dead end. I've tested to export the jobs to the 7.3 but this did not work (as expected). There are already quite a lot working days in the projects.

I've got the perspective intention to use the enterprise version maybe in one year. I was using before SAP Data Services for a long time an really appreciate work with Talend.

Thanks in advance

Matthias

Hello Sabrina,

thanks for your answer. The number of jobs was quite small, lot of logic inside. So I simply had to re-create the jobs in 7.3.1 (and add some improvements and make it better designed). Maybe this question will help other users not to do the same error.

Thanks and regards

Matthias

Hello Matthias,

Sorry but we forbid import of items from an upper version. Are you able to re-create your jobs in a released version(7.3.1)?

Best regards

Sabrina
