Talend UI is very slow

Hi,

while using TOS ESB  in version 7.2.1 the performance is so bad that a usage of the Ui is not possible.

Opening a tmap or switching components sometimes takes up to one minute. Also switching values in components and shemas takes about 30secs. 

Building Jobs and executing them works.

What I have tried so far:

1. Switched JAVA from openjdk version "1.8.0_242" to ORACLE JAVA 8 and to ZULU opendJDK 8
   1. Didn't make any difference. Current version: 
      1. openjdk version "1.8.0_242"
         OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_242-8u242-b08-0ubuntu3~18.04-b08)
         OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.242-b08, mixed mode)
2. Disabled all Firewalls and malwareApplications

OS:

Java as mentioned above:

Talend is located in /opt/Talend/Studio/

Talend is started via /opt/Talend/Studio/TOS_ESB-linux-gtk-x86_64

This performance is unacceptable, I look into the software requirements documentation and found that ubuntu 19.1 is not a supported Operating System.
