Alternative Qlik Sense extensions for sheet events

Hi,

To implement automatic selection of field values (when moving between sheets), I have tried the SheetEvents and Sense Navigation extensions.

SheetEvents is buggy, does not select field values as required.

Sheet Navigation does not even import into my server environment (June 2018).

Is there any alternative extension I can use?

Is it showing any error message? How are you importing the extension?

Have also tried with various versions of the extension.

I unblocked the zip file, but still get the same error.

HI,

• There is a chance that you might be having this extension already added through QMC , so you first check that.
• Next , you don't have to unzip the file to import extension.

Hi Ankusha,

Your first point was my issue, the extension was installed on the server, zip file name was different though (swr-sense-navigation.zip).  Not sure which version this is, but will do some testing to ensure all is in order.

Final question, what is the best way to upgrade an extension?

If you have different version of same extension, instead to trying to upgrade it, you can just remove the previous version and replace it with the new version.
