Does an APIs call keep the Section Access active?

Bonjour,

We use the Qlik API to retrieve data for display in an external web solution. We want to keep the Section Access in place. Our external web solution uses our active directory, the same as Qlik's. So if I make a call to the API, will the result keep the Section Access?
