Extension Fundamental

I just started working with extensions, what two languages would you say are fundamental to creating extensions?

JavaScript and English.

But I am happy to be proven wrong.

I don't know if it counts as wrong:

Javascript, HTML, CSS.

Preferably Angular.

I suggest you try with widgets as the learning curve is less.
