Frequent Extesnions removal from QMC

Hello, we are using Qliksense Enterprise version 14.254.6. But some extensions like multi kpi, input variable, date picker are getting removed automatically and we need to ad them again and again. This issue occurs on frequent basis.Tried the solution suggested:Exclude the Qlik Sense folders from your antivirus scanning. This is the most frequent cause of recurring extension removal.

Multi node structure

Central, 2 Proxies, 2 Schedulers

Extensions are getting removed from QMC itself. It is not dependent on any specific activity. It happens randomly on daily basis.

Hi

Since extensions are disappearing from QMC itself, this is likely a Repository/multi-node synchronization issue rather than an extension-specific problem.

Check Repository Service logs on the Central and Rim nodes at the exact time the extension disappears.

Verify all nodes are healthy and check for Repository DB connectivity, certificate, and synchronization errors.

Also check EDR/antivirus, scheduled PowerShell/CLI/API jobs, and CI/CD scripts that could delete or replace extensions.

If the issue continues, collect Repository logs from all nodes around one incident and raise a Qlik Support case with the exact timestamp and affected extension.

Hi @apurvjad

Are you mentioning extensions which were part of Qlik bundle but may no longer be supported? MultiKpi is one of those for sure.

Those extensions are not maintained in the same way as other extensions are. They are being installed/uninstalled each time you reboot services. You would need to look at how extension bundles are installed on the server and see which files are responsible for that.

Here is detailed explanation:

Passei por esse problema, e acredite se quiser o vilão era o antivirus do servidor que por algum motivo achava que a extensão era virus. Coloquei o pacote no grupo de excessões e resolveu o problema.
