How can i change the color pictures and the number from the color-picker?

i have just implementet the custom-color picker in my extension.

I can change the colors and it works.

I have two questions:

Is there any possibility to change the number of colors?

If i change the colors- there are always

Is it possible to change the color pictures you see in this picture?

If i change the colors, the pictures are still the same.
