Greetings everyone,
I have being facing a strange behaviour, or at least, a behaviour I can't figure out where it comes from.
Beware that the mashup and app are develop in Spanish, but I'll try to make it clear. The filter we will examining are Periodo (Period) and Año (Year), which are messing up between them when changing pages.
This is the filter panel in the landing page, which is working as expected:
[LANDING PAGE]
OK, now let's check another page, which doesn't have the 'Año' filter, only the 'Periodo':
[2nd PAGE]
But those are the options for the 'Año' filter. Well, let's refresh quickly before someone see it with F5 and hope for the best:
[2nd PAGE]
Ah! there you go, we got the right options for the 'Periodo' filter. But I have to check something else in the landing page, let's go there once again:
[LANDING PAGE]
Oh no! Now my the 'Año' filter shows us the filter options of the 'Periodo'.
Seriously, I don't have any clue, as It is not the only app integrated in mashup, and I'm using the same variables and methodology for the filter panels, but it is the only one presenting this behaviour. Any ideas?
-> The same thing happens in Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
Thank you beforehand,
KR

Hi Jorge,
Are you using different session identities on the different sheets? If you use the same identity, it should apply the selection across all sheets, but if you specify a different identity when you move between sheets, the selection on the other sheet(s) will not be applied.
Hi Rbartley,
Yep, we are using same identities when we want the selection to stay the same in other sheets. But, the problem is not the selection itself, it is the content of the filter.
For example, in the last screenshot we have two filters, 'Periodo' and 'Año', the title may differ, but they do the same, selecting an option for the period (i.e. they both work as the 'Periodo' filter). But as we can see in the first screenshot, they were working properly before changing sheets, refreshing, and change back to the first sheet.
That being said, I will check identities and check I can work a solution with that.
Thank you,
KR
Jorge
OK, I hope that works out; if not, post again.
Hello again,
It does not work. Also tried to force the same ID and even name of the panel, but no luck till now.
The thing is, I have a copy of this mashup for another country, same client, same code. The only thing that differs are titles and the objects in Qlik. It does not present that behaviour.
It is not a big problem, but it bugs me.
Thx
If you post it, I could take a look.
Should I upload the app in question to Qlik Gallery? And the mashup code as additional documentation (.zip)?
You could upload it here
