We are trying to explore the option of SSO via API based authentication. We have shortlisted 3 options Ticket, header and Session based. Our application is a portal and inside that portal we are using Iframe to display the hub. Right now we are using SAML based authentication which is SP initiated. We are thinking instead of going to IDP initiated SAML authentication if we can switch to Ticket, header or session based authentication.
Please share your views and thoughts on the same in terms of advantages, limitations and best practices. Thanks
