Hi All!
Hoping you can help with the following query... Is there a QlikSense extension that will allow the user the ability to drill-down from a Pivot Table similar to an Excel Pivot Table where the user can click the measure to get to the underlying data that was aggregated into the measure, pre-filtered by the dimensions in the pivot table?
Ideally this would be a "Pop-Up" new screen or switch to a new sheet with the data approximately filtered. If not possible then my users will accept a solution that is a table on the bottom of the current screen that get's filtered appropriately when the measure is clicked.
thanks in advance!
Scott
Hi Jason, thanks for your message. We did take a look at it but in the pivot it only applies row dimensions, not column dimensions. In the end we went with Vizlib solution that applies column dimensions also. Note it isn't perfect either as it doesn't include any filters applied in the measure itself but at least it's most of the way there from a user perspective.
Hi @Scott2 - have you looked into the Drill to Detail extension that can be found on GitHub?
Link: https://github.com/ChristofSchwarz/qs_ext_Drill2Details
There is a video that demonstrates the functionality that can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SwJeyUTWhc#:~:text=Video%20showing%20this%20generic%20Drill,link
The description from GitHub states:
Qlik Sense extension to open a new sheet or a detail object upon selection. Since it watches the app's field selections, it is generic and works with every viszalization object, even filterboxes and in the current-selection bar.
