Solved: WebSocket call failing with Qlik Sense Desktop - F... - Qlik Community

Hi there,

Since Qlik Sense Desktop Feb 2021 (I think?) some websocket code is no longer working,
has anyone else had this issue ?

For example:

var allapps = "ws://localhost:4848/app";

var ws = new WebSocket(allapps);

Giving the following error in Chrome:

The desktop is running and I can connect to the dev-hub (http://localhost:4848/dev-hub/engine-api-explorer).

This has been fixed by upgrading to Qlik Sense Feb 2021 Patch 4 from Feb 2021 Patch 1.
