After obtaining a Unified Signed License Key from a Sales representatives, the license needs to be applied on Qlik Sense and QlikView environments.

A Unified Signed License Key works on the following products and versions:

  • QlikView Server – April 2019 release and later
  • QlikView Publisher - April 2020 release
  • Qlik Sense Enterprise - February 2019 and later

Note: To apply the unified Signed License Key to Qlik Sense by following the steps on the article: How to Apply a Signed License Key

By using an Unified key, you can share the user allocations for both products, by choosing from the same list.
Please note that when receiving the License Delivery email the correct license to apply is the Signed License Key provided for Qlik Sense Enterprise which should already contain the attributes that also allows it to be used on QlikView.

If you receive an error message "The remote server returned an arror: (403) Forbidden" or "License is not valid in the current environment", this means that you are trying to license QlikView with a Signed License Key that does not contain the unified attributes.
