How to create Log Streaming task :

  

1.     Create Log Stream target endpoint.  Choose role – Target 

Storage path: physical location of changes on the Replicate server. 

Type: Log Stream 

Give it a logical name 

 Go to Retention in this endpoint and set it according to your needs .

 Save the changes. 

2.  Create the log streaming task.

This task is responsible to read and store on disk all the changes for specified tables. 

 For source use your source endpoint (e.g. Oracle ACBS endpoint) 

For target use previously created log stream target endpoint 

Select tables for which you want to store changes 

3.     Duplicate your source endpoint with different name 

1. 

   Give it a unique name of your choice
   

   Specify to Read Changes from log stream folder 

   Specify your log stream task 

   Enter the password 

   

2. 4. Create a replication task(s) which will replicate your tables to the target
   

   Use the above endpoint from step 3 as your source
