According to Qlik the number of concurrent tasks on Qlik Scheduler server should be set as:
Number of concurrent jobs = no. of CPU on the server – 2
Has any of you tried to set the number of concurrent tasks to more than what is recommended? E.g. if you have 6 CPU cores and then set it to 5 instead of 4? What happens and which risks you will run, if you do so?
In my case , i have 2 scheduler nodes running 16CPUs and 128GB RAM, i had initially set the Max concurrent reloads to 30. This leads max CPU utilization. Job failures and sometimes the server hangs
