Deleting Logs

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows

Is it safe to delete logs from this folder C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\CapabilityService

Both old and new.

And why some logs are of 32 GBs

Hi, I have deleted files from all folders inside C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\ and never found any issue, I usually left some of the last of each folder just in case we want to check something.

Don't remove the files on the root (C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\) as those files are usedf by the monitoring apps. You can delete them but the next reload of the monitoring apps will be a full reload, not incremental, and with the info of the logs left in the server.

The biggest log files are usually lower than 10 Mb, with few lower than 100 Mb, so I don't know why you have a 32 Gb log, you can check it, and also check if there is a repeated error or warning stored in the file, also you can check on windows logs if there is an error that happens ver often and is also replicated on Sense log.
