Error while authenticating for Qlik Sense Desktop - Failed to open the selected hub

Would  someone be able to point me to concise step by step instructions to resolve this issue?

Users were forced to upgrade QlikSense Desktop and are getting errors.

I do see conversations but the resolution is not clear.

We learned that there was a bug in the upgrade version. We were able to install an Aug 2022 version without issue.  Thank you.
