The easiest approach will be to:

  • Stop the Qlik Sense Proxy Service
  • Stop the other service which is using 443
  • Start the Qlik Sense Proxy Service
  • Navigate to in the QMC: Proxies > Edit > Ports > Service Listen Port HTTPS (default)
  • Change the HTTPS port to the desired value
  • Add the customized port to the URL (e.g. https://localhost:port/qmc)
  • Validate functionality
  • Start the other service which is using 443

Is there a particular purpose why another webserver is needed on the Qlik server?

Hi,
I've followed your steps, but as soon as I change the port (to 450), then QMC doesn't open with the new port (e.g. https://localhost:450/qmc) and redirects me to HTTP QMC link.

Any comments please?

Many Thanks
