License problems Qlik Sense Enterprise

Hi Guys,

I have latest Qlik Sense Enterprise on a Windows Server 2016 standard, 1 professional user and 6 analyzers
Randomly (like 2, 3 times on a session) I get an error message from server saying something like "You cannot access Qlik Sense because you have no access pass"???

I close the hub/qmc, log off, log on, etc. but can't solve the problem at the moment. All the times it happened I notice it solves by itself if I wait a few minutes.

Anyone has an ideia of the cause of problem?
Thanks!

Hi! Are you opening simultaneous sessions? Or any chance that you might have a network device (like a web proxy or a load balancer) between you and the server, that might open simultaneous sessions for you?
It looks like you are reaching the limit of five sessions, and then you need to wait for them to expire.

You will find the "session count" for every attempt in the Repository / Trace / License Repository logs.

Also, are you connecting to Qlik Sense using the System Account that runs the services?

Hi Daniele, much appreciated your feedback!

No chance of simultaneous sessions, I only have one token allocated to me for development, no tokens to users.

But yes, I am using the same account that is running the services - can that be a reason for the problem?

Hi Paulo!

Yes, I think using the service account the cause for the issue: https://qliksupport.force.com/articles/000051633

Use a different one and things should start working.
Cheers!
