Old Database data imported into PostgreSQL 16

I can see/hear that PostgreSQL 16 is now supported by QlikSense, and from this page I see how were are supposed to set it up...

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-admin/May2024/Subsystems/DeployAdministerQSE/Content/Sense_DeployA...

...but in the SQL Script I don't see how the old data is copied over to these new QSR, SenseServices, QSMQ, Licenses databases.

How do we copy the data from these old databases over to the new ones? (pardon my ignorance if that old data doesn't matter)

Thank you very much for that Alan, at first glance that's exactly what I'm looking for, I'll get diving into those pages.

Thank you again

Hi there,

Sorry to reply to my forum entry which already has a solution, but just figured it would be better for anyone else searching with the same questions to find them all in one entry:-

I've had time to look into these pages and I can see what I have to do to the "QSR" database (thank you!), but - apart from running the SQL Script on the page I reference in the OP as the last step - I am still unsure about the below...

  1. Should I back up and import the "SenseServices" database also? (It sounds like - based on what it is - I should do)

  2. Do I need to do anything with the "Licenses" database? (because it's on the same server, it doesn't look like I do)

  3. Do I need to do anything to the "QSMQ" database? (as it doesn't hold anything that would need to be historically referenced, it doesn't look like I do)

Thank you for your time
