QS Document Analyzer Connector Issue (Enterprise on AWS)

I am managing a new QS Enterprise for Windows implementation in an AWS Cloud.

We installed the QS Document Analyzer (1.7) on the server per instructions.

I am trying to create the data connector and getting a WebSocketConnector error message / HTTP 500.

This URL directs to our default virtual proxy, which uses Windows authentication.

I thought there might be a port not open/available, but we turned off the server firewall briefly and got the same result.

Has anyone else seen this?  I have a few apps that really need tuning/trimming.
