QVDs-Encryption Based On LEF/Serial or Random?

Hello Folks,

A client of mine had their cluster go down.  We have setup a new cluster under the same license.  Can we bring over QVDs that were created on the old system, and have them read by the new system. 

Or does the encryption not work like that?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If your customer was using data encryption that is managed by certificates.
