Qlik Cloud - Forcing MFA for Native Authentication Users

Hello everyone,

regarding access to Qlik Cloud, when using native authentication, can we force the use of MFA for all users (at least for users of a tenant)?

Thanks

Hi @herard_bertrand ,
the Qlik Account is used to interact with different Qlik websites (including this community) and can be also used to connect to different tenants from different companies, and that's why we don't enforce MFA (as that would be applied anywhere).

If security is a concern, then the recommendation is to use one's own Identity Provider instead.

Hi @herard_bertrand ,

That's a user-personal configuration. Unfortunately this is not possible with the native Qlik.com authentication.

Good question through.

Thanks for answer,

for me it seems a security issue of the platform 🙂

but if it doesn't exist ...

Hello,

You can use MFA on your Qlik Community account - for QlikCloud tenants using default (Qlik) IdP

https://myqlik.qlik.com/portal/security/

Is this what you are looking for?

Thanks for the explanation, I've added a vote on the Ideation Page. I understand your point of view, but I think this should be an option for tenants (Force MFA Off / On)

Thanks
