I am trying to install (fresh) the latest version of Qlik Sense Desktop on Win 8.1 Enterprise. I have .NET 4.5.2 installed and have cleared my proxy settings.
When I run the install package, my cursor shows a spinning wheel and it seems like something is happening in the background, however, the installer fails to run completely or display anything at all on the screen.
Please see attached for the log file. It seems like something happens to cause the failure when the install reaches the point of checking the registry for an expected value (but I could be wrong).
