Qlik Sense Upgrade to Lower version

Hi, 

In our Test environment, currently we are using Qlik Sense version MAY 2024. 

For our testing purpose, we need to go back older version to Qlik Sense 2023 Version. Is it possible to upgrade from latest version to lower version ?

Kindly suggest.

@Chip_Matejowsky Thanks. Even Database also need to Uninstall. Because we didn't upgrade anything related to database.

That means, currently i have QS 2024 version. Again I'm trying to upgrade same version QS 2024.

If the Postgres database version is the same and listed in the System Requirements for the earlier version, then you should only need to restore the Qlik Sense Site.

Even if all same, shall i need to uninstall and install (or) directly run the Qlik exe 2023 version file ?

@Chip_Matejowsky In my central node, if I uninstall the latest version and going to install the Qlik Sense 2023 version. During installation, we have one step called Create New Database and Connecting to an existing Postgres SQL DB. 

Which one need to be choose? Because I'm just uninstall and install the Qlik sense. We are not doing any update on the DB.

Before doing this activity, shall i want to take backup ? 

Below step is for the certificates backup. Form where and how to take this ? 

• Certificates for the Qlik Sense services: The certificates are used to encrypt the traffic between the services and the users. Make sure to backup the certificates in order not to lose any encrypted data (for example, passwords for data connections).

Please suggest.
