Qlik Sense migration to a server with different host nane

Hi

I need to migrate qlik sense to another server with different host name,

I have one central node.

I read the documentation of how to do it, but I have a problem with the certificates. In the documentation there is a description of how to backup and restore the certificates. it is the same procedure if the new server has identical host name or different, but when i restore the certificates on the new server, i can't open QMC due to "Windows authentication" error. I guess it is because of the certificates because they have been restored from a different hostname,

Please advice.

what should I do with the certificates when I migrate qlik sense from a server with different host name.

Should I skip the certificates restore that described in the documentation and what will happen if I do?

Or just try to migrate without reimport certificates.

You just will have to reenter data connexion password.

Hi,

Did you try to connect with https://localhost/hub ?

Users are local account from your qlik sense server ?

Can you share more description? You are using Local or AD users?
All Services running well w/o any problems? There are no logs file with timestamp In C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Repository\Trace

If you skip certification restore you must update all passwords stored in dataconnection

I'm using AD users. All services are running. There are logs but not something that helps.

I deleted the certificates and re-create them using "Repository.exe -bootstrap -standalone -restorehostname" but still can't connect to QMC.

I didn't restore the license since I have another one for this server, and i expect that QMC will open the license page to enter the details, like in new installations. but after re-creating the certificates I get REFUSE error on the browser, like authentication is wrong.

"being replaces to server name automatically"
try login from QlikSense server localy using https://localhost/qmc
or https://hostname/QMC

Question. You use another hostname and restore backup from old server or you have two host with the same hostname in one AD?
