Hi Qlik Community,
We are facing a critical access issue in our Qlik Sense Enterprise environment and would appreciate any help or guidance.
❗ Issue Summary:
Our Root Admin account, which is also the service account used to run all Qlik Services (via "Log on as a service" on the Qlik Sense VM), is unable to access any published dashboards or License Monitor or Operation Monitor Dashboards in the Hub.
The error displayed is:
"No Access Pass"
📌 Observations:
The Root Admin user is not assigned a Professional or Analyzer license.
This is causing a complete block from accessing the Qlik Hub and published apps.
All Qlik services (Repository, Proxy, Engine, Scheduler, etc.) are up and running.
User Directory Sync has completed successfully.
🔍 Suspected Root Cause:
The Root Admin account, while having full QMC access, require a user license (Professional/Analyzer) to view the published dashboard even monitoring app such as License and Operation Monitor?
Please suggest!
Yes, this is expected behaviour. You do need to assign it a license. Permissions and roles control authorisation, but not entitlements. you don't need a license to perform QMC functions, but to use apps (even the monitoring apps) you will.
Regards.
