Specifications for SSL Certifcate

Hello,

I am working with my IT dept to purchase an SSL Certificate for Qlik Sense Server and I was asked specs for it.

Is there anything I should be looking for in particular when I request for an SSL certificate.

I searched for information on this and the most I can find is how to install the certificate.

Any guidance on this would be most helpful.

Hello Simy,

you must have a certification with private key included for a successful installation and activation on Qlik Sense.

After import the certification you can check if private key included if on tab General on MMC see the following message:

"You have a private key that corresponds to this certificate".

From my personal experience the easiest way is to obtain a certificate on pfx format from your provider or you can convert to pfx manually if you have the certification and private key with a tool like openssl.
