Upgrade Qliksense to November 2024 Release

We have Qliksense November 2023 Patch 2 installed and need to upgrade to November 2024 Patch 10 (latest release). What are my steps? Do I simply run update exe file for November 2024 (patch 10) or do i need to run Qlik_Sense_setup.exe for initial November 2024 release and then update file?

yes... latest release upgrade, then latest patch... 

filesizes might have given that away 🙄

I always follow the way uninstall patch if its exists then Upgrade initial release then patch it again. Not sure if its rgiht way but i get less error with this.

Hi, Good day! In General, this should be good to directly upgrade to November 2024 IR But for some instance (sometimes it is getting an error that it can't be removed the Patch and needs to do it manually which the reason of failing to upgrade).

So we suggest that to just uninstall the Patch 2 first and then run the installer (QS November 2024 IR) so avoid any issues then update the Patch you needed.

Of course, we always recommend to have a backup or snapshot of environment in worst case scenarios happen and always to test it in your lower environment before doing it in PROD.
