User access to the "Selection" Button

Hello,

I just bought some licences and i want to give them the right to open an app (read only) and see the sheets.

I placed some filter in the sheet because i don't want them to open the selection button (in the top right of the sheet).

The problem is : i don't know how to lock this button, some data are personal and I don't want to allow them to see those data thanks to the selection button.

Hello, 

As long as the user has access to the data, I don't think you will be able to prevent them not to use specific value in the filter. 

It sounds like you should use Section Access to reduce the scope of data the users can see.
