connecting Qlik SAAS to SQL Server running in the cloud on Azure

Hello,

I would like to connect Qlik SAAS to a SQL Server running on a Azure VM.   

My approach is as follows:

1. Setup SQL server for TCP/IP.

2. Create a firewall rule on the virtual machine to allow port 1433.

3. On the Azure Server create a rule to allow port 1433 only from ip addresses 18.205.71.36, 18.232.32.199, 34.237.68.254

Is this the recommended approach.
