My company is currently against allowing our users to connect to our Qlik Sense SaaS tenant using the mobile app. Is there a way to block this functionality for some/all users?
I don't believe there's an inherent way to do this. Would it achieve anything if the same user can use their mobile device to access Qlik Sense using the browser?
Unrelated, how did you make it through school without erasing the student records?
[Edit] I remembered seeing something about this at some point and a bit of digging around found it - https://community.qlik.com/t5/Suggest-an-Idea/Qlik-Sense-Mobile-Enable-Disable-mobile-access-by-stre...
Looks like Qlik's take is the same as mine - "What's the difference between the app and a browser session?" - so it doesn't look like there's a solution.
Thanks for the discussion @Bobby_Tables @Or - I believe the interest is something like this https://ideation.qlik.com/app/#/case/449829?cpid=36a0577b-a500-44d0-bd5d-3d3d3e2cbdd4
We are currently looking at how the custom role framework can support improved mobile user scopes - stay tuned.
Are you on Qlik Cloud Government?
this setting may help:
This is under Administration>Settings
Hi David,
I'm not on Qlik Cloud Government, I'm on Qlik Cloud Enterprise.
Thanks
Hi David,
Thanks for this. Unfortunately I believe this setting just affects what a user can see in the app if they have no internet access.
Thanks
