Hello everyone,
I have recently started with Qlik sense. One of the user requested to hide an application from hub.
Scenario : We have two application A, B and both are interlinked. User want the application A only to be displayed and they have a link inside the application A to access the application B ( as the users click the button to display the data for B, it launches).
User don't want the application B to be on the display in hub and requests it should only be accessed via the option they have in application A.
Please advise. Many Thanks in advance.
Good morning @GovindGSC ,
I would say that this is not possible.
To access an application using the same user, you need to have access to the stream containing the app and to the app itself. If you can't see the app on the hub, you basically don't have access to it (I'm not considering Section Access at this point).
It should be possible using different users, but then you should handle a more complex configuration (and use more licenses?)
I hope this helps,
Riccardo
@rzenere_avvale Thank you
Hi @GovindGSC
I think if you move App B into a stream that the user does not have access to but create a security rule directly to the app then this is possible.
