Qlik is pleased to announce the general availability of the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool, a strategic solution designed to help customers transition from Qlik Sense Client-Managed to Qlik Cloud with control, visibility, and scalability. This tool also provides foundational support for QlikView and NPrinting migrations, helping reduce manual work and accelerate modernization. The tool originates from an acquisition by Qlik from Stretch Qonnect and has since undergone extensive branding, scaling, and feature expansion. It has been fully hardened in collaboration with the Stretch Qonnect team to meet enterprise standards and real-world complexity. This milestone was announced in the official Qlik press release, which highlights the tool’s role in accelerating customers’ move to cloud analytics: Qlik Press Release

Hello,

The standard job that imports the applications can be split into two separate jobs - one to export the applications (these will exist in the QAMT server in a folder) and another to import the applications.  This will allow you to import when ready instead of exporting and then importing in a single job.

It also is worth noting that it is expected to split migrations up into multiple plans instead of a single plan to migrate everything.  Doing this can also allow for migrating and validating in chunks rather than all at once.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I am not sure I am following.

Maybe my post was not clear enough. I was referring to the possibility of backing up applications which are already in the cloud.
