So, the absence of a Qlik Sense for Desktop August release , does this subtly/quietly/stealthily mean that we will no longer see Desktop releases ?

Is Qlik keeping this quiet from the user base ?

I think it was announced around Qlik Connect that Client Managed would only get two releases per year in the future. I think it was May and November. Maybe that includes updates for the desktop as well.

This was stealthily mentioned in February 2024 way at the bottom of some release note page or something similar, I forget the details. It was properly announced in March, though:

I would assume this applies to Desktop too.

Thanks for the reply , but at the end of the day that is speculative. Qlik is being quit opaque, I see less of this with PowerBI , maybe thats why PowerBI is gaining ground and observing the sites I have worked at are now dumping QS in favour of PBI, sad really.
