50 MB Limit for adding external data

Hello

I am trying to add excel data in my newly created App.

When click on add data it shows 50 MB limit. How to increase this limit?

Hi,

I guess you're using QlikCloud. If so, then it is a limitation of the free version. You'll need to upgrade to any of the paid options in order to get more space and more features, all depending on your needs,

Thanks for your response, we are not using QlikCloud, This message is not showing when use Qlik Sense Desktop version, When we use Hub using URL this message is coming.

Hi,

On QlikSense Desktop this limit is not present because these is not a real "Content Library" into the Desktop version.

This is only Qlik Sense Server limitation until version 3.1.x and there are no possibility to increase that limit.

Pay attention because the maximum size for each file is 25Mb !

From QlikSense Version 3.2.x (and upper) this limit has been increased to 200Mb.

Workaround:

Use "Data Load Editor " instead "Quick Data Load" and you won't have any type of size limit on your source file.

@pragna666 I think the way to load files using Load Editor is click on Load Editor in the App, the same place that you can choose Data manager, Data model viewer, Open hub and not just drop the csv file to the App.
