Adding a new connection in Qlik Sense Cloud

I have just created a trial account for qlik sense cloud and imported an app which i had created using desktop edition.

Now, in cloud, the data source i had used when creating the app is not available.

How do i create this data source to connect to my SQL Database ?

I don't see the option to add a new data connection.

Thanks, Vishal.

In the cloud, you can't add a connection to mySql, only files.

The best way to work with cloud is to pull your data into the app (Tier 1) then store into QVDs then upload those QVDs as cloud is slow and has a few limitations.

Thank You for responses.

So, what you mean to say is that i create the data model in desktop version and then upload to cloud to share with others ? And there is no way to add data into cloud directly.

How do i refresh data for my reports published in cloud then ?

No, you can't besides if it is files (QVDs, csv, txt etc).
The cloud is meant to share ideas and apps, that is why they created that limitation.
The Cloud for business is the one option you can look at, it is $20 per month which will allow you to have multiple source connections.
I think it is just a platform for a different purpose.

You can create an app within the cloud and attach files onto it; with that, you can do reloads.

Please search for attached files in qlik sense cloud.
