After upgraded to Qlik Sense 2024 Feb, Chrome v79 cannot open app

Hi, 

I have upgraded Qlik Sense server from May 2021 to Feb 2024.  I have a problem,  Chrome version 79 is no longer able to open any app, it shows a blank page. The Hub page is ok. As my company runs some legacy applications that need Chrome v79 browser, I cannot upgrade Chrome to the latest version.

can anyone tell me how to open the Qlik app with Chrome v79?

Hi, 

Can you check your Chrome Console (F12 key). Qlik Sense Feb 2024 uses a library called webpack5, I don't know if this version of Chrome support it. With the screenshot, we'll have more informations.

Hello,

the minimum chrome version is 112 and above for that version of Qlik Sense.

You could install Edge or Brave to get a newer chrome engine aside your company locked down Chrome.

I am sorry that I cannot reproduce the Qlik error screenshot as requested because I have already rolled back Qlik version to 2021 May after the upgrade failed.

Hello Michael,

Qlik Sense EfW May 2023 P16 is the latest you can use. I tested it with Chrome 72 (version i had still in the archive). From August 2023 you have a newer framework for visualizations which need a more modern browser.
