Dear all,
I'm relatively new to QS and I need your help:
==> My target is to have the Dashboard running on a TV without manual interaction
The ideal case would be to create a story and it will be played in full-screen in an infinite loop and refreshes itself. Is there such function?
As I didn't find this function, I was thinking about creating a story and export it to powerpoint and then convert it into a video and put it onto the TV screens and update it once a week/month.
With the stories I have another problem: If I want to have separate sheets that show e.g. country specific data from charts. For example: One sheet for England that has 5 different charts that are filtered to England, another sheet with the same logic for France, etc.
When I take a snapshot of a chart that has a filter applied, I can easily add it to a slide in a story but if I update the raw data, it doesn't update the snapshot. Is there any way to change this?
I think a workaround would be to to insert live-sheets to the story, but in this case I would have to create many copy-paste sheets with the same data and I would like to avoid it.
The perfect solution would be if I can take a snapshot with a filter of a chart and copy it to a story and every time I update the raw data, it updates all snapshots with the new data (and also applies changes from the original chart to the snapshots in the stories).
I appreciate your help in advance.
Dear all,
in case somebody will have a similar use for the dashboard:
For this solution it works perfectly fine when publishing an updated version or when reloading the data. This has been tested for several weeks now and I didn't have any issues with it so far. However, it would be fantastic if an automatic slideshow could be a native functionality in Qlik Sense.
YOU CAN SET APP REFRESH FREQUENCY..
