Average calculation by month not working

Hello, 

I'm trying to create a calculation in a table and then a chart for average of CMI by month. However, it keeps giving me the total.  I tried 3 different ways which you can see in the screenshot. I have an excel pivot of what it should be by month to compare to. Please help!

this looks like a data model issue as first glance, your YearMonth field doesn't seem to be associated to your measure field
