Bar Chart in a Container - Format Totals on top of bars

Hi,

I have a Container that has 2 tabs.

On the second tab, I have chosen Bar and Area chart and have some data points.

On Top of each bar, I would like to get Total represented by that Bar.

I am unable to format the Numbers to show in 3 decimals.

I already tried formatting like '#,###.000' etc., but that doesn't work

The selections that I have made are as below - see 2 screenshots below..

First go to number formatting -> select custom -> in the format pattern put - #,##0.000
