Base Sheets , Community Sheets , My Sheets

Hi,

I have been working on Qlikview and recently started working on Qliksense, so far I have been using the Desktop version but now I got access to the server version of Qlik Sense which has sheets like Base Sheets , Community Sheets  and My Sheets. In the Desktop version I only used Mysheets which is like the usual sheets in Qlikview but the other 2 are new to me can someone explain what they are used for and what is difference between the 3 different types of Sheets

You should think of the sheets that you see in Desktop as Base Sheets. If
you import an desktop developed application into a Qlik Sense Enterprise
Server all sheets will be presented as Base Sheets. If you export an
application from Qlik Sense Enterprise Server only the Base sheets will be
included.

My sheets are the sheets you develop in a published application that you
have not shared published/shared with the other users.

The community sheets are the sheets of other users have published/shared
within a published application.

In the later versions of Qlik Sense it is possible for an application
administrator to promote community sheets into a Base sheet.

Hi @anushree1

It's simple:

Base sheets - The default sheets in the application. Sheets that added to the base sheets are included when an app is duplicated or exported.

My Sheets - Personal sheets you created.

Community Sheets - Sheets in the same application that were published by other users.

Note: If you create a personal sheet and publish it (right click and Publish), you'll find it under "Published by me" section, while other users in the app will find it under "Community Sheets".

Hope it's clear 🙂

Eli.

I am a little confused on the base sheets, are those the sheets that will be created by me or someone else. I do not see base sheets in Qliksesnse Desktop but i find them only on the Qliksense Server, why is it so?

 @sunny_talwar , @Michael_Tarallo , @Vegar , @kaushiknsolanki  could you please reply on this
