Calculating averages

Hello Experts,

I'm new to qlikview and I'm having a bit of trouble calculating averages.

I have 8 Accounts that have 4 Transition's (Enrollment, Beginning, Coordinated and Identification). I need sum and average of Transitions in two different text boxes whenever I click on (Enrollment/Beginning/Coordinated/Identification).

Example: If I select Account 3 & 6, and Enrollment, I need to get Sum = 61 and Average = 31 (61/2 = 31) in those two text boxes for calculation 3 column..

I have attached the sample excel sheet for your reference.

Hi Sreee,

If you are using a Text object, first you need to add a measure within the Text object so aggregation can happen. Or you can use a KPI object as well, which will allow to add a measure automatically. Just use the simple expressions below:

Sum(calculation 3) and AVG(calculation 3)
