Can you modify the format of the Excel you export from Qlik Sense?
For example, I want to make the headers in bold and a different background color and maybe change de font as well.
Thank you!
Hi @BogdanT18
As far as I know, the only thing you can do is export the table in the same format it is now:
There are no options to export in a custom format yet.

Can I at least format the numbers in any way? Because for example the problem I am facing now is that in the report/app interface 0 is displayed "0.00" but when exported in Excel, regardless if I check the formatting box, it is displayed just as a coma "," and it's not ok...
Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
Bogdan
Hello @BogdanT18,
As long as you export numeric data from a Qlik Sense object, the decimal separator will be derived from MS Excel settings, and you don't have any control over it from Qlik. As a workaround, I'd like to share a method that involves exporting data as text using the Text() function in combination with Num() to format the numeric data. For instance:
Text(Num(Sum(<FIELD_NAME>), '#,##0.00'))
This approach allows users to preserve the dot symbol as a separator even if the user's Excel settings have a comma as the decimal separator. However, this solution might not be ideal for various reasons. In light of this, I'd like to suggest considering alternative tools, such as Qlik nPrinting, to achieve more granular control over the export process.
Qlik nPrinting offers enhanced capabilities for creating pixel-perfect reports, providing users with greater control over numbers/text formatting, including decimal separators. This tool can be integrated seamlessly with Qlik Sense on-prem to generate polished and customized reports tailored to your specific requirements.
Best,
ilya
Hello @Bruddah_IZ ,
Thanks for your answer, I will check the Qlik nPrinting then.
Still, I believe that my problem was not that clear, I mean: client requires the value 0 to show as 0.00 or 0,00 but now is displayed just as a coma and no zeros :)) It's strange really...
Thanks,
Bogdan
